Last year’s Cobra L47 Driver was a well designed and extremely solid driver which also performed well in our driver test. However, the new king cobra L5V is a huge improvement in the looks department and early testing suggests it has even more available power. Model Reviewed: Cobra L4V F. Just bought this club (9 degree, R flex) and have played it three rounds and am very disappointed w/ the performance. Less distance than either of my previous drivers (Titleist D1 Ping G). The club is so light that it's like fanning the ball rather than swinging through it. The system was clear and easy to use and is definitely more user friendly than other adjustable drivers on the market. The Cobra L5V is an excellent addition to the premium driver market and the performance combined with great looks certainly justifies the investment required.
